We are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join our internal finance team and support our financial operations.

Role Overview

As a Finance Assistant at C9 Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the finance function of a recruitment firm.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Management: Creating company invoices, issuing credit notes when necessary and dealing with client's queries.
  • Expense Tracking: Recording and monitoring company expenses.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assisting in managing the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Payroll Assistance: Supporting the payroll process by preparing necessary data and ensuring timely payments to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including month-end closing processes.
  • Data Entry: Accurately inputting financial data into the company's accounting systems.

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days from home after successful probation)

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Finance related degree, studying for degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have used accounting softwares before (Xero, Quickbooks, etc)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
