Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Management:Produce accurate Quarterly Management Accounts to reflect the companys financial status. Prepare comprehensive reports including Balance Sheet Reconciliations, as well as Monthly and Year-End Accounts to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Credit and Cash Flow Management:Implement robust credit control processes to maintain healthy cash flow. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including petty cash, credit card statements, and cash flow control to optimize financial performance.
• Bank and Currency Management:Efficiently manage bank accounts across three different currencies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of financial transactions.
• VAT and Compliance:Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Financial Tools and Software Proficiency:Utilize financial management software, primarily Sage 50, to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is highly desirable. (Qualified by experience welcome).
• Relevant Experience:Proven experience in management accounting, with a solid foundation in handling various financial and accounting functions.
• Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Sage 50 is essential. Experience with handling Letters of Credit is advantageous, though not a prerequisite.
• Personal Attributes:Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Currencies:Experience of working with multiple currencies is advantageous but not necessary.
