Position details:

Corporate Title: Vice President

Functional Title: Head of Finance

Experience: 17+ years of relevant finance expertise in Capital Market/Stockbroking, Asset Management such as Mutual Funds, AIF Category 3 and/or PMS industry.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance

Experience in Financial Reporting & Controllership is a Must

Responsibilities:


Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making by senior management and stakeholders.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads and senior management.

Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic planning and business decisions.

Monitor and track budget performance against actual results and provide variance analysis.

Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.

Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Review and improve internal control processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion and accurate financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.

Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting standards.
