Job description

The Head of Finance and Accounts plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the organization.

Some key responsibilities include:

Financial Planning and Budgeting: Developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the business meets its financial goals.

Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports, and analyses to management and stakeholders. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.

Accounting and Taxation: Overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing tax obligations. Compliance of Direct and Indirect Tax.

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

Audit: Responsible for completion of Statutory Audits of listed companies,

• Responsible for timely completion of Internal Audits

• Ensurecompliances with all findings/ recommendations from internal/ external audits

• To ensure timely completion of Tax Audits, Cost Audits etc

Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as currency and gold fluctuations, market volatility, and credit risks.

Financial Analysis: Providing insights and analysis to support business decisions, such as pricing, inventory management, and sales strategies.

MIS and Cost Control

Compliance and Governance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and governance requirements.

Team Management: Leading and developing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
