A vibrant investment management and consulting firm is seeking a proactive and ambitious candidate with relevant experience to take on an open Investment Analyst role.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMy client is an industry-leading company that invests in community infrastructure, with the hope of advancing the South African economy. They provide creative and perceptive approaches to advisory tasks.

As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing investment directives through using finance knowledge and analytical skills.

Other duties include:

• Perform thorough evaluations of potential investment opportunities
• Organize, manage, and direct both internal and external resources throughout the due diligence process
• Examine, gather, and refine due diligence results
• Develop investment recommendations
• Condense and showcase information on current and future trends in investment risks and economic factors relevant to investments
• Conduct assessments of investment values
• Track market trends, identify opportunities and risks, and explore new investment prospects
• Create investor reports, presentations, and other necessary materials
• Coordinate with the fund administrators to ensure that administration is precise and current
• Prepare compliance reports and ensure they are submitted on time

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Finance / BSc Engineering / BSC Actuarial Science
• Strong research and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail
