Radar Analyst

Role Overview

This role is for Atlanta Group, part of the Markerstudy Group.

We have an exciting role available for a Radar Analyst to join our Pricing Deployment team at Atlanta, part of the Markerstudy Group.

The deployment team is responsible for the development, testing and deployment of pricing and underwriting changes for the MGA products as well as for key insurers.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement price changes, optimise our rating engine and manage our pricing and underwriting efficacy while growing your skills and pricing expertise.

As a Radar Analyst you will have responsibility for:
  • Building, deployment and testing of the Radar pricing for Atlanta MGA Personal Lines products,
  • Contribute to the continuous pricing cycle including development and deployment of tactical pricing initiatives, price optimisation proposals and price change opportunity & impact analytics,
  • Work closely with the Technical Pricing and Portfolio Management teams on the creation/development of pricing changes,
  • Work closely with Deployment Test Analyst for the pre and post live testing, evidencing, sign off and Live promotion of Pricing changes,
  • Contribute to delivery of the pricing roadmap in line with the vision and long-term goals of the company. Some support of the overall Personal Lines business plan and strategy,
  • Communicate effectively and build trusting relationships by understanding and meeting expectations of key internal and external stakeholders,
  • Constantly develop knowledge and skills by undertaking training in line with agreed development plan including mandatory training and keep up-to date with technical, legal and market developments via use of various learning materials,
  • Embrace change, delivering and driving new solutions and innovation within a team environment whilst considering wider options
  • To conduct the business of the Company at all times in a courteous and efficient manner
  • To undertake any other task as may reasonably be required by the Company

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in testing insurance products/pricing is advantageous
  • Experience using one or more key SWH partner systems: CDL/Acturis/OGI
  • Knowledge of end to end quote journey for personal lines products is advantageous
  • Skills Required:
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly numerate

IT Skills:
  • MS Office Suite. Advanced user of MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • WTW software - Radar Base
  • CDL/Acturis/OGI
  • Polaris development experience or the ability and willingness to learn Polaris development as part of the role.
