Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for managing income and expenditure effectively? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our trading company. Your responsibilities will include:
Income and Expenditure Management:
As a Finance Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for meticulously managing the financial transactions of our organization. This includes accurately recording income, tracking expenses, and ensuring that our financial records remain error-free.
Reconciliation of Financial Accounts:
You will regularly reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and petty cash accounts. This vital task ensures that all transactions are meticulously accounted for and that discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
Credit Control Management:
Contributing to our credit control efforts, you will help manage accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding invoices and proactively communicating with clients to facilitate timely payments. Your role will also involve addressing payment discrepancies and resolving payment-related queries.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Your role will involve creating, updating, and maintaining financial tables and reports. These reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, are essential tools for informed decision-making and financial analysis.
Collaboration with Payroll Provider:
You will collaborate closely with our external payroll provider to manage salary payments, ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, and oversee pension contributions. Your expertise in payroll administration will be instrumental in maintaining smooth payroll processes.
Confidentiality and Deadline Compliance:
Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality is paramount in this role, especially when handling sensitive financial information. Additionally, you will work diligently to meet various financial reporting deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Teamwork:
As a valued member of our finance team, you will collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and support services staff to streamline financial operations and achieve our organization's financial goals.
