What you'll do:
Reporting to our dynamic CFO, you will work closely together to deliver outstanding financial support to the rest of our fast-growing organisation. As we continue to scale, you will be given opportunity to put your own stamp on the Financial Control function, building the right foundations for the future finance framework. You will be a capable Head of Financial Control who has end to end experience leading lean functions and driving change, and the role will be an ideal development space for future CFOs. Additionally, you will need to be confident in leading and managing finance transformation projects.

- Provide leadership and direction to the Financial Control team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute financial strategies, processes and systems to support the company's growth objectives, while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
- Manage the financial reporting process, internally/externally on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Take the lead on the group audit process
- Facilitate process enhancements, automation, and implementation efforts to optimise departmental efficiency.
What you'll need:
You will have ability to operate in a fast-paced environment combining this with a positive and innovative attitude, constantly looking to improve processes and drive performance.
- Qualified Accountant with experience in a senior Financial Control position, ideally in a data intensive, D2C environment.
- Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Able to ‘roll up your sleeves’ when needed, and be comfortable working as part of the team as well as working autonomously.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and drive innovative solutions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and project management tools.
- Ability to build best in class finance functions from the ground up
