This division of a global manufacturing business provides specialist products and solutions to a range of sectors with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Led by an experienced site management team their initiatives to improve efficiency and drive sales has resulted in continued growth and profitability.
A new role has now become available for a Finance Manager to support the Site Financial Controller and manage a small team of staff. You will be reporting into an experienced, fully qualified accountant and working with knowledgeable finance colleagues to produce timely and accurate financial information, monitoring expenditure and analysing performance, whilst ensuring robust systems and controls are in place. The main responsibilities will be:
The ideal candidate for this role would be part or fully CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified, QBE will also be considered, preferably with experience of working in a manufacturing / industrial environment in a Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager level position. Previous exposure to group reporting would also be advantageous along with working knowledge of ERP systems and strong Excel experience, in particular data extraction and analysis. You must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a desire for personal development and continuous improvement. This will be an excellent role for someone looking to be part of a stable, well renowned business.

- Producing the management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock valuation and reviewing stock movement
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Assisting with preparation of budgets
Managing group treasury function - Compiling operational and financial KPIs
- Sales and intercompany reporting to group
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Point of contact for group auditors
- Assisting with compliance to group policies
