More about your role

As Management Accountant you will be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive management accounting service to the operational management teams, across various regions and central support functions.

Your team will produce a monthly reporting pack including both financial and non-financial performance information and narrative. You will ensure the production of quality, timely Budgets, Management Accounts, Projections and Financial plans for their business areas, which ensure operational activities are effectively controlled and overseen.

This role is home based however regular travel will be required to Preston and Leeds for meetings and to support your team. Therefore, our preference is for a candidate based in North West England, however we would consider exceptional candidates from anywhere in the UK.

More about you

We are looking for a commercially minded qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACA, CIMA) or will have relevant experience to reflect this. We are looking for someone who ensures that the reports presented to operational managers are accurate, timely and above all add value and aid decision making.

You will also have experience of managing and developing a small team. A proficient user of Excel and other Office365 products you will have an active interest in technology to help identify new and improved ways of working.
