Deputy Head of Pensions - Local Government
£650 per day

In this role. you will work closely with the Head of Pensions to oversee the strategic and operational management of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). Your focus will be efficient delivery of services focussed on governance, compliance, and driving improvements.

- Assist the Head of Pension Fund in the overall management and strategic direction of pension schemes.
- Lead and mentor a team of pension professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Development of the pension strategy
About you as a Deputy Head of Pensions
- You will have proven experience in pension scheme management, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape.
- You will have strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
- You will also need to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
