Cost Segregation Manager
- Conducts onsite inspections
- Analyzes potential projects and whether cost segregation services are appropriate
- Manages multiple engagements/projects
- Collects client information, including escrow statements, appraisal reports, land title surveys, and building drawings for purchases, and construction cost data, drawings, and completion documents for new properties
- Communicates project status with internal and external clientele
- Analyzes information and appropriately identifies technical issue
- Reviews junior members work product
- Manages project budgets
- Mentors and develops junior team members
- Presents the report and findings to clientele
- Assists in the hiring, training and mentoring of staff
- Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
- Provides timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
- Assists with practice development
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Business required; Master s degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in Cost Segregation practice
- CA, CPA or EA designation preferred
- Experience performing cost segregation studies or related construction duties such as estimating preferred
- Experience within public accounting preferred
- Experience with the federal rules and regulations governing tax depreciation preferred
- Ability to identify technical issues, analyze information and report findings to the client
- Previous experience training and leading a successful team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
