We are inviting applications for the role of Manager - Fixed Assets

We%27re looking for Record to Report Professional, having technical depth in accounting functions, financial statements and Reporting.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and accounting for the company%27s fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the asset management processes.



Responsibilities:


1. Asset Management:

- Maintain the fixed assets register, ensuring all asset additions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports, including depreciation schedules.

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) in the reporting of fixed assets.

3. Capitalization and Depreciation:

- Review and process capital expenditure (CapEx) requests, ensuring they meet capitalization criteria.

- Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets, updating the fixed asset register accordingly.

4. Compliance and Internal Controls:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls related to fixed asset management.

- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Minimum qualifications


    Bachelor%27s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
    Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

    .IT skills: ERP (Blackline/SAP/Ariba/Alteryx), MS Office


      Relevant Experience in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops

      Preferred qualifications


        Chartered Accountants (CAs) will be more preferred.
        Good Written & Verbal Communication
        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
        Effective communication and teamwork skills.
        Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
