Introduction

A manufacturing company in the Durban area is looking to employ an experienced trial balance bookkeeper who can process several sets of books to trial balance on Sage One and Xero, always maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The successful applicant will oversee the debtors/ creditors' function and will be responsible for payroll and statutory returns, VAT, monthly reporting, management and intercompany accounts, and yearend reconciliations and preparation of information for the external accountants. Applicants should have their matric, at least 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience, excellent MS Excel knowledge, and have worked on online accounting systems such as Sage One and Xero.
