Role Objective:
To professionally manage the management accounting function, so that it will contribute to the growth and profitability of the company. To provide management meaningful accounting information, relating to the products supplied by the client, in order to satisfy the identified information needs of management, operating from the manufacturing plant in Wadeville.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare meaningful accounting information on the products produced to monitor the profitability of the products.
Prepare the monthly financial pack within the deadlines stipulated by Auto-X.
Prepare the monthly management reports within 5 days. Provide the information for management to use in their decision-making process.
Assist with the setting of the budget within the deadline stipulated by the client and OPCO.
Develop and maintain an integral planning system for the management accounting activities so that desired results
are achieved economically and effectively.
Arrange and relate the management accounting activities so that it is performed effectively at reasonable cost and with maximum satisfaction of the people doing it.
Assess and regulate the work in the department so that approved plans are accomplished, and deviations are
corrected promptly.
Ensure the financial accounting reporting is fair, reflective and accurate in accordance with company policies and accepted accounting standards.
Manage the maintenance store so that it runs efficiently and effectively.
Ensure the production information in Syspro fairly represents the physical production in the month and that inventory is valued correctly.
Oversee the production accounting.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesQualifications & Experience:

• B Comm, CMA or CIMA & 10 years' experience in management accounting of which at least 5 years was in a manufacturing environment and in a management position.
• Syspro experience.
• Vena - added advantage.
