Handle are currently working with a global gaming brand, who are looking for an Interim Statutory Accountant to take them through their year end audit and statutory reporting requirements.

Kery requirements include -

• Preparing UK statutory accounts for all companies within the Group
• Overseeing the audit process for various business entities, ensuring auditors adhere to the set timeframe and budget, while minimizing business disruption.
• Collaborating with the finance team to provide necessary documentation and timely responses to auditor inquiries.
• Contributing to the statutory long-range forecast for group impairment testing.
• Leading regular meetings with auditors to ensure smooth audit progression and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
• Calculating adjustments to convert accounts from local standards to IFRS.
• Reconciling management reporting profit figures with final statutory profit numbers for presentation to the executive team.
• Preparing tax calculations for all entities and addressing inquiries from the internal tax team.

Candidate requirements -

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or international equivalent)
• Have strong experience in IFRS multi-currency consolidation
• Experience in project management especially in terms of timelines and management of external auditors
• Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
• Have worked in a similar complex company structure
• Media and/or entertainment industry experience is highly advantageous
