Full time Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week including flexi-time

Prince are proud to be recruiting for a well-established prestigious manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. They are recruiting for a Shared-Services Accountant to join them on a permanent basis working in their shared service centre supporting a number of entities across the EMEA region including the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and Belgium. You are responsible for delivering support to the in-country controllers. You will support the monthly close cycle, financial and statutory reporting and policy compliance. You will be responsible for preparing account reconciliations to be reviewed by the in country controller.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, and supporting Finance Controllers for a number of entities across a number of countries and your responsibilities will include:

Foreign Exchange revaluations

Intercompany reconciliations

Prepayment

Accruals

Interco Loans and interest

GRIR reclass and reconciliations

Payroll reconciliations

VAT reconciliations

Calculate provisions as necessary for in country and policy compliance

Customer rebates and sales commissions

Prepare and post journals

Interaction with in country controllers

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have knowledge of financial reporting and analysis, have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organise and manage multiple projects. Ideally you will have experience of using SAP but this isnt essential.
