Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Leeds Finance team to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, this role will require the incumbent to be primarily very strong in transactional finance functions, but also flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks to support the wider team.
In this role you will manage daily cashbooks, including recording receipts/payments and posting cash batches, along with periodic and month-end reconciliations and revaluations, prepare and post journals related to credit card returns and will oversee and participate in the completion of monthly tax schedules.
This role would suit someone with demonstrable experience in a similar role who is looking for a career progression opportunity.

Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong experience working with an ERP system
- Competency in MS Office, especially SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel
