Temp Accounts Assistant
I’m looking for an Accounts Assistant/Ledger Clerk for a 6-week booking ending on 8th November. Ideally you will have AAT2 and have Quick Books experience and be a confident Excel user.
Key tasks include:
* Managing Credit Control limits on a daily basis - including chasing payments and dialogue with customers
* Purchase Ledger - Processing invoices/credits/payments
* Sales Ledger - Processing invoices/credits/receipts
* Performing bank reconciliations and allocating receipts and payments
* Completing the weekly payment runs
* Processing expenses - both personal and credit card
* Dealing with general account queries - being the first point of contact
* Responsible for managing the Accounts team inbox
* Liaising with Operations team
* Managing and ordering office supplies - ensuring there is an adequate stock of offices supplies
* Managing and the distribution of daily post
* Other ad hoc tasks as required
Attributes and Experience required
This role requires the individual to work with all levels of the organisation in order to ensure the financial requirements of the business are managed promptly and keep up to date. The individual is required to have good knowledge of the financial working of small business and should be working towards recognised financial qualifications.
Hours 9-5 and plenty of free parking
