NXTGEN are pleased to to be working with a very well known local organisation based in Attleborough. My client is looking to recruit a Assistant Accountant. This role will report directly in to the Finance Controller and you will play a key role in assisting with the day to day task. This Assistant Accountant role will also offer an opportunity to be trained directly by the Finance Controller allowing you to enhance you finance knowledge. You will be be joining a small close knit team and my client is looking for someone who can demonstrate being a team player. As an Assistant Accountant you will be tasked with assisting with the completion of monthly management accounts, assist with budgeting and forecasting, VAT returns, assist with cashflow analysis and reporting and prepare monthly payroll

Assisting monthly management accounts and reports
Journals, accruals and prepayments
Assisting with Budgets and forecasts
KPI Reporting
Support non finance teams with key business decisions
Closure of the ledgers
Bank reconciliations
Preparing supplier payments
Processing of payrollIdeally you will have an AAT qualification or have experience in working a similar position. It is essential you have assisted with monthly management accounts. Experience is also a key factor for my client and they will consider someone without an AAT qualification but you must have a proven track record in this type of position.

Salary £30k-35k DOE
