The Role:
In this role, you’ll be using the latest accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, BTC, and Engager, to deliver high-quality work to a variety of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Preparing tax computations and returns (CT600) for limited companies.
* Assisting clients with queries related to accounts and tax returns.
This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, efficient, and confident in delivering high-quality work, all while meeting deadlines.
About You:
* Experience: 2+ years working in a UK accountancy practice, preparing accounts and tax returns.
* Skills: You should be able to hit the ground running, with strong communication and time-management skills. Familiarity with modern accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks is a plus.
* Work Ethic: You enjoy working as part of a team, but are equally comfortable working independently. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited to take on new challenges.
