The successful candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in financial leadership and a proven track record in making informed decisions related to Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT). As the Head of Finance, your duties and responsibilities may include the following:
Support the overall budgeting process across the campus
Perform monthly variance analysis monthly
Review expenditure and costs
Make informed recommendations to achieve Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT)
Manage the budget preparation process as per national guidelines
Implement, monitor and enforce internal controls
Review, handle and resolve audit findings
Update and reconcile changes made on the fixed asset register
Drive the achievement of monthly targets for the collection
Track and analyze the performance of the finance team
Ensure the payments are allocated accurately
Oversee the debt collection process to meet the specified debt collection requirements
Reconcile supplier accounts to creditors' ledger
Draw up the yearly budget
Process and balance the monthly General Ledger reconciliation
Ensure that the finance and operations teams work together
Develop, manage, and train the finance team to ensure optimal performance

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of financial management experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Supervisory and analytical skills

Qualification:
Relevant Finance and Accounting degree
Matric (Grade 12)
