Job Description: Junior Accounting Assistant (Accounting Student)

Job Type: Full time, On-site
Salary: R10 000-R15 000 CTC per month depending on experience.
Job Description: A motivated Junior Accounting Assistant who is currently studying accounting or a related field. This role provides invaluable hands-on experience and is perfect for an aspiring accountant looking to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior accountants with preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledgers.
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
EMP201 and VAT submissions
Assist with CIPC submissions
Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain accurate financial records.
Complete Annual tax returns on e-filing
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts.
