Senior Commercial Manager - Bristol/Birmingham, UK Rail
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to strengthen our UK Rail team. This key role involves taking full commercial responsibility for two significant portfolios, working closely with commercial managers to ensure successful project delivery, manage risks, and maximize commercial returns. The ideal candidate will have experience in small works or facilities management, though a rail background is not essential.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead commercial activities, including cost and value management, risk mitigation, and contract negotiation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Oversee financial reporting, change management, and long-term cash forecasting.
Manage and develop a commercial team of around 25 people, ensuring their growth and success.Qualifications:
Membership in a professional institution (e.g., SCSI or RICS).
Strong financial management and dispute resolution skills.
Experience in managing and leading teams.Benefits:
