We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Management Accountant to join our clients team in Corby. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage financial records and ensure the accuracy of financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Hours: Full-Time or Shortened Working Week (30-35 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting and Management: Produce accurate Quarterly Management Accounts to reflect the company’s financial status. Prepare comprehensive reports including Balance Sheet Reconciliations, as well as Monthly and Year-End Accounts to assist in strategic decision-making.
* Credit and Cash Flow Management: Implement robust credit control processes to maintain healthy cash flow. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including petty cash, credit card statements, and cash flow control to optimize financial performance.
* Bank and Currency Management: Efficiently manage bank accounts across three different currencies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of financial transactions.
* VAT and Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
* Financial Tools and Software Proficiency: Utilize financial management software, primarily Sage 50, to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
* Educational Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is highly desirable. (Qualified by experience welcome).
* Relevant Experience: Proven experience in management accounting, with a solid foundation in handling various financial and accounting functions.
* Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Sage 50 is essential. Experience with handling Letters of Credit is advantageous, though not a prerequisite.
* Personal Attributes: Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Currencies: Experience of working with multiple currencies is advantageous but not necessary
