Introduction
Looking for a Long-Term Insurance Broker that specializes in advising and selling long-term insurance policies, including life insurance, annuities, funeral, retirement policies, etc. The broker will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing expert advice, and finding the best insurance solutions to meet those needs. This role involves building and maintaining client relationships, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments for clients to determine their insurance requirements.
    • Provide expert advice on suitable long-term insurance products.
    • Explain the features, advantages, and disadvantages of various insurance policies.
  • Sales and Policy Placement:
    • Present and sell long-term insurance products to clients.
    • Assist clients in completing insurance applications and other paperwork.
    • Negotiate terms and premiums with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
    • Ensure the timely placement of policies and follow up on outstanding applications.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
    • Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
    • Review clients' insurance needs periodically and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Market Analysis and Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and new insurance products.
    • Conduct market research to identify competitive products and pricing.
    • Attend industry seminars, training sessions, and conferences to enhance knowledge.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory and company standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and correspondence.
    • Handle client data with confidentiality and integrity.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or related field.
    • Professional certifications (RE Qualification and Industry Certifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in long-term insurance products.
    • Proven track record of successful sales and client relationship management.
    • 120 Credits or more ideally
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working with a variety of insurance carriers.
    • Established network within the insurance industry.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to long-term insurance.
