Introduction
You will be required to manage and analyse the costs associated with a company's products, directly impacting the organisation's financial performance.
Reporting to the Costing and Financial Accountant, this role requires a BCom Degree or Accounting Diploma, with strong proficiency in Pastel, Syspro, and intermediate Excel skills.
FMCG/Retail sector experience is essential.
You will demonstrate a keen attention to detail, excellent numerical abilities, and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
Responsibilities include creating and managing stock purchase orders, maintaining effective communication with suppliers, and accurately capturing and verifying shipment details in Excel.
You must ensure that costings in Syspro align with those in Excel, resolving any discrepancies and coordinating with receiving teams to facilitate smooth processing.
Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy are essential for this role, which plays a key part in optimising cost efficiencies within the business.
