Our client, in the Finance Sector, is looking to employ a Senior Investment Officer for their branch in Boksburg. The successful incumbent will play a crucial role in identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value transactions that drive business growth. Duties & Responsibilities
- Deal Origination: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and stakeholders to achieve favourable terms and close deals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, and strategic partners.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential deals, assessing risks, financial implications, and strategic fit.
- Financial modelling: Creating detailed financial models, including revenue projections, cost analysis, risk assessment, and return calculations to guide investment decisions.
- Deal Structuring: Develop and present deal structures that align with the company's objectives, ensuring they are financially sound and legally compliant.
- Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and finalization of contracts and agreements, coordinating with legal and compliance teams.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform deal strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure successful deal execution and integration.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on deal progress, pipeline, and key metrics.
- Matric
- BCOM Degree in Accounting / Finance/business-related field ESSENTIAL
- 4 or more years of working experience in business investment/business investment structuring.
- Experience in Auditing, Banking, and/or Sales and Marketing will be advantageous.
- Ability to read financial statements, investments (SME) and finance restructuring
