• Lead monthly financial operations, including payments and reconciliations, with a keen eye for detail.
• Maintain and scrutinize accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the financial heartbeat of the company is strong.
• Oversee the asset register, ensuring fixed assets are meticulously recorded and managed.
• Compile essential monthly returns for regulatory bodies, keeping the company in good standing.
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with colleagues, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Provide mentorship to team members, guiding them towards excellence.
• Analyze and report on departmental costs, offering strategic insights for optimization.
• Prepare financial reports with precision and punctuality, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed.

• Continuously evaluate and refine financial systems and processes for peak efficiency.

Requirements:

• Matriculation certificate (Matric).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field.
• A clean criminal record, reflecting your trustworthiness and integrity.
• Experience in a mining or similar industrial environment, demonstrating your adaptability and sector knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics or an equivalent ERP system, alongside the full MS Office suite.
• Completion of articles or experience as a trainee accountant, showcasing a solid accounting foundation.
• Deep understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
