This leading manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Finance Director to help drive the business forward. Someone committed to quality, innovation and growth, to be an integral part of a well-established senior leadership team. The Finance Director will have a strong background in finance leadership roles within the manufacturing sector, with a track record of success in driving financial strategy and performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional commercial acumen, and someone who will bring their years of experience and passion for the sector to help deliver results
You will be a fully qualified Accountant with at least 10 years experience in a senior financial role
Manufacturing experience with commercial exposure of SMEs
Excellent commercial and business acumen
Exceptional communication skills at all levels
Strong IT skills, able to embrace new technologies

- Highlight any performance concerns of the factories and areas for improvement to the Manufacturing management team.
- Provide executive cover at other sites as and when required.
- Lead and manage budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, recommendations, and decision support to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and other departments to drive cost efficiency, revenue growth, and overall business success.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
