Position: Reporting Accountant

Contract: 3 months
Rate: £330 per day via Umbrella Company
The Team:
You will be joining the Central Finance (CF) team within the Finance Division. CF provides centralised support and expertise to the rest of Finance and the Business. Our client's Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) Reporting & Analysis team, part of CF, is responsible for calculating and reporting the Group's Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital information.
About the Role:
As a Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the RWA reporting process and associated Data Governance. Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating the creation of regulatory reports, preparing robust Management Information (MI), and providing intelligent insights to support their divisions. Building effective relationships across CF and beyond will also be a key aspect of this role.
Key
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of robust risk weighted reporting MI for internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines.
Consolidate and deliver robust data quality reporting.
Create and present robust capital MI with added insight.
Establish and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Understand and resolve issues as they arise.
Maintain and role-model a robust control environment.
Proactively identify improvements to existing processes, systems, and procedures.
Engage with stakeholder teams to ensure collaborative outcomes.What You'll Need:
Knowledge of derivative type products and repo portfolio.
Qualification in Accountancy.
Practical understanding of financial systems and processes.
Ability to manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Delivery-driven mindset with a passion for producing quality work.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Confidence in implementing change in a collaborative manner.
