We are currently recruiting a Financial Controller for a £50m T/O manufacturing client in Huddersfield.
Our client has grown significantly in recent years and the Financial Controller role reports directly to the UK Managing Director. The company trades in both the UK and overseas and has an international subsidiary. Experience in a manufacturing industry is essential.

The appointed Financial Controller will take charge of:

• All monthly reporting and will be the point of contact for the external accountants and bank.
• As a newly created role there will be the opportunity to put your stamp on new processes, creating efficiencies and delivering focused analysis and reporting to the board.
• A project moving forward will be the to look at their current systems and with the prospect of bringing in SAP.
• Multi-currency and multi-company reporting
• Monthly VAT data preparation and reporting for various individual companies in the group
• Overseeing and managing book-keeping staff
• Complying with all accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Responsible for Bank Reconciliation , scrutiny of Ledger & releasing payments.
• Collating payroll and related filings
