Our client is a privately owned group of businesses with a combined turnover in excess of £100 million and growing rapidly. They have continued to invest in new products and services which will support future sustainable growth. They are undergoing a business transformation project to keep pace with their growth and their Finance team will be a key part of this. The Opportunity:
This is a newly created role and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in moulding and developing the role with numerous internal progression routes available in the future. This is a very fast-growing business and will suit a highly motivated and career focussed individual who is able to succeed in their core role whilst helping with other business-related projects.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of the monthly management accounts, analysis and interpretation of business performance and KPIs
* Provision of accurate and insightful financial performance analysis for the senior management team
* Produce commercial insights to guide decision making and to help predict future financial performance
* Sponsorship and development of continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
* Produce project cash flow forecasts and own the project balance sheet reconciliation process - WIP, cost accruals and deferred/accrued income
* Work closely with other areas of the business on cross functional projects
Person Specification:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with colleagues across different departments. Experience in management accounting, working capital optimisation and financial analysis is essential.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
* Strong systems skills, comfortable working with large data sets.
* Continuous improvement mindset, willing to innovate and improve practices
* High level of integrity with a keen eye for accuracy
* Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understand / interpret information quickly
* Previous experience within a similar role

* Salary range £45,000 - £55,000
