Join a leading company in the South African meat industry, renowned for its dedication to quality, sustainability, and innovation. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Financial Analyst to join their team to help ensure the efficient management of inventory and stock control.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be crucial in overseeing the storage, movement, and stock-taking of all dry goods, consumables, and product inventory. Your main focus will be on accurately managing stock intake, investigating variances, and ensuring all inventory processes align with company standards.
Minimum Requirements:
BCom Degree
3 - 5 years inventory control experience
1 -2 years supervisory experience
Strong understanding of yield management
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular visits to offsite storage facilities to monitor inventory.
Supervise and coordinate stock-take teams to ensure accurate inventory counts.
Foster a positive work environment by managing conflicts and promoting strong employee relations.
Oversee the movement and control of all product inventories, including carcasses and boxes from internal and external suppliers, following company processes.
Manage the movement, control, and issuing of all dry goods and consumable inventory per company procedures.
Ensure all inventory is accurately labeled and positioned, coordinating with the creditor's department on stock intakes from both on-site and off-site locations.
Perform weekly stocktakes and reconcile inventory movements, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
Provide weekly and monthly inventory reports, analyzing trends and patterns to support effective decision-making.
Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Analyst team on stock-related matters, providing financial insights and support.
