FinTech RS are delighted to be exclusively supporting one of our local accountancy firms as they look to recruit an Accounts Manager on a permanent basis due to an upcoming retirement. Our client is a well-known firm and well-respected within the local area.

This role will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, working seamlessly with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of client work.

Our client offers a 35-hour working week, flexi-time with any overtime worked given as time back in lieu or paid out.

Key duties:

• Planning and overseeing the compilation of year-end accounts for a varied clientele, including a sizable portion of clients in the agriculture industry.
• Manage the accounts & finance team
• Examine all of the work that employees have produced, and where needed, offer training or comments.
• Continually cultivate new and existing client relationships.
• Answer and settle any questions clients may have about business, taxes, or other matters.

Candidates should have a strong practice background and operate at either Assistant Manager or Manager level. Qualified is preferred however not essential. Experience with Sage & Xero is beneficial.
