The Senior Credit controller will be responsible for financial operational delivery by managing assigned debtor's portfolio and account function. Focus area will be to recover failing accounts and to increase cashflow through achieved collection targets.

Qualifications:

Qualification / Certification in Accounting (Essential)
BCom Degree in Accounting (Desirable)

Experience:

Experience in effectively managing debt collections - 6 years
Solid Finance experience - 6 years
Experience in shared service - 6 years
Knowledge of Business Processes - 8 years
Knowledge of systems and the application of atomization and digitization to the business - 8 years
Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word) - 3 years
Accpac (Sage 300) - 3 years
Power BI - 3 years

Responsibilities:

Manage collections effectively to ensure, weekly and monthly targets are met.
Reconcile complex accounts
Receipting
Prepare weekly/Monthly reports for management.
Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
Preparing statements, client status reports and other relevant information as required.
Analyze and manage the collections improvement initiatives.
Be an ambassador to drive efficiencies through effective communication.
