A well-established company in the East Rand is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team!

Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong background in accounting
• Basic skills in financial analysis and control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently while keeping to deadlines
• Strong communication skills

Key Duties:

• Reporting and Analysis:

• Timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders
• Monthly consolidation of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
• Support management decisions with financial analysis and ad hoc reports

Financial Management:

• Oversee payroll systems, changes and compliance with legislation
• Prepare and submit tax calculations and returns (VAT, EMP, IRP6)
• Manage B-BBEE, Employment Equity and Skills Development

Process Optimization and Compliance:

• Optimize business processes for audits
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and external regulations

Credit Management:

• Monitor and manage credit limits and standing of counterparties
• Address late payments and credit issues and maintain relationships with external service providers

Team Leadership:

• Lead, evaluate and develop financial staff
• Cooperate with accounting for accurate and compliant financial operations

Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:

• Handle additional tasks as needed, supporting various financial and operational activities
