Duties & Responsibilities
A global leader within the FMCG industry is seeking the expertise of an Assistant Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for the daily financial functions of the business. If you are have strong experience of SAP, are thorough and meticulous and immediately available, please do apply for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Action daily accounts transactions on SAP
  • Control purchase orders for admin
  • Maintain statutory fixed assets register
  • Produce supplier and customer master data and manage changes
  • Produce intercompany invoices and credit notes
  • Manage journal entries and balance sheet recons
  • Track and implement financial procedures and controls
  • Produce daily cashflow forecasts, monthly overheads and cost analysis
  • Provide support with budget and quarterly forecasts
  • Produce year end audit pack and communicate with auditors on queries
  • Produce payroll inputs and monthly VAT, tax submissions

Requirements:
  • Must have BCom Accounting Degree or relevant Finance Qualification
  • Must have 3 years post-qualification experience,thorough experience with SAP
  • Must be available immediately
  • Must have solid financial accounting knowledge, understanding of taxation and VAT
  • Must be thorough, with meticulous attention to detail
