The Role
Compile contractual scope of works and costing models (labour and variable) associated with a particular service offering, including any scope modifications and costing increases associated with contract escalations, reviews and adjustments; Ensure that all contracts are subject to due diligence to achieve acceptable levels of financial (business) risk to Sandvik Mining.
Assist with the composition of bundled deals in response to RFI/RFQ etc. which are in accordance with the Limits of Authority (LOA) and Commercial Approval System User Guide requirements; In conjunction with the SA and Global Deal Pricing Manager ensure that bundled deals improve EBIT and ROCE whilst growing total business volume.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the database housing the abovementioned information Use statistical and analytical tools to identify pricing patterns and opportunities for optimization.
- Continuously improve the total process.
- Liaise with Global Costing Managers with regards to Global best practices relating to POC models.
- Coach contract personnel in methodologies and processes to better manage cost models.
- Assist contract personnel during budget time with parts sales and cost of sales forecast from the maintenance costs models.
- Updating the rates tables during the life of the contract and assisting with contract escalations (liasing with BLM and Account Manager) where rate increases are required linked to parts pricing adjustments and other such pricing adjustment mechanisms.
- Continuously improve the process by investigating new technologies and methodologies to forecast maintenance cost and improve cost modelling.
- Liaise with Global Deal Pricing Manager and respective PAs in the compilation of the bundled deal and its business case, including running the bundling tool.
Your Profile:
- A diploma/degree in Finance/Economics/Statistics/Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering support of manufacturing systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Business case interpretation and formulation
- MS Excel Advanced
- Budget Compilation
