We are currently working with a market-leading insurance company to recruit a Head of Operational Resilience Framework. The successful candidate be responsible for defining, refining and implementing an Operational Resilience framework and related policies, with day to day oversight of the execution of the Operational Resilience framework, including key senior stakeholder engagement.

In the role you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to;

  • Leading the effective development and consistent implementation of the Operational Resilience Strategy, Framework, and Policy.
  • Defining and refining key Operational Resilience processes, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Ensuring overall consistency and approach across the Operational Resilience function by establishing standardised processes.
  • Designing, refining and agreeing design and governance structure for Operational Resilience, maintaining the Target Operating Model.
  • Developing, facilitating and executing a plan to ensure that stakeholders in the 1st line or in support functions are sufficiently engaged.
  • Working with Head of Business Continuity to ensure alignment of Operational Resilience with business continuity policy, framework and plans.
  • Facilitating the development of a resilience culture ensuring the Operational Resilience mind-set is embedded within the organisation's culture.
  • Overseeing key Operational Resilience communications both internally to governance committees and engaging with external parties.


The ideal candidate should have but not limited to;

  • Experience of implementing and maturing an organisations’ Operational Resilience.
  • Experience of meeting regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience.
  • Previous exposure developing, implementing and leading others on a strategic vision.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Insurance experience.
