Reed Finance is recruiting for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for a key client based in Glasgow City Centre. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will lead on providing high quality technical and analytical support through the development and implementation of an FP&A function for the organisation. You will improve processes and procedures to support efficient and effective operations within a strong internal control environment.
The role manages a team of accountants. The ideal candidate will have a background working in an FP&A role. Our client offers a hybrid working model, with a requirement to be in the office 2/3 days per week. You will be required to build strong working relationships with business partners and senior leaders across the business.

- Lead project work within the finance team. This includes leading initiatives involving internal teams and external advisors to deliver strategic projects related to process improvement
- Shape and lead the future of the FP&A function, providing strategic oversight and direct support to the wider business
- Line manage a team of accountants
- Continually review and identify opportunities for enhancing the information provision
- Build organisational capability in FP&A, developing analytical, reporting and systems skills within the team
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:
- Fully qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS)
- Line management experience
- Ideally a previous background in an FP&A role
- Strong communication skills
- Extensive post qualification experience
