What you'll do:As a Project Control Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the company's project control methodology. Your primary responsibility will be managing the financial performance of client projects in support of the delivery project. You will also provide crucial support for international projects, from contract development to risk mitigation. Your ability to implement effective performance measurement processes will be key to your success in this role. You will also liaise with various departments such as Finance and Procurement to address international tax reporting issues and assist with international purchases respectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for analysing project variances and communicating this information appropriately to management.Manage the financial aspects of assigned client projects in support of the delivery project manager.Provide support for international projects including contract development and conformance with company standards, risk mitigation, project reporting and project status.Implement effective performance measurement (earned value) processes with the project management team.Support Finance with international tax reporting issues (corporate and individual).Support Procurement as required on international purchases, importing, duties, etc.Communicate effectively with project managers regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services.Analyse project variances including delayed collections and forecasted cost overruns.What you bring:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.Minimum of five years of project accounting experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics (advantageous)Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately between 5% - 10% of domestic travel with the possibility of international travel as well).
