We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Assistant to join the Financial Services Team based in our Falkirk Campus and reporting to the Finance Manager. You will have the ability to work with Learners, External Agencies and staff at all levels in the organisation.
Together with experience of delivering effective customer service, working with spreadsheets and databases, you will have an HNC in Accounting, Business Administration (or equivalent), and ideally have some experience of Purchase and Sales Ledger, Cash and Banking, Debt Management. You will be able to work on your own and as part of a team, possess excellent written and communication skills, and have excellent attention to detail.
Your key responsibilities will include day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger, liaising with suppliers and College staff, supporting the Senior Finance Assistant, and month end processes for the Purchase Ledger. During busy periods you will assist in other areas within the Finance team, and along with a small team of Finance Assistant colleagues you will cover the department's administrative tasks.
