Get Baked (GB) is a highly innovative bakery business demonstrating rapid growth. We operate mainly in the North with exciting plans to expand nationally in the coming three-five years via more stores, deliver everywhere now via our online sales and with commercial partnerships.

Our Finance department will drive our company forward, from steering major investment projects to transforming data into powerful insights. As trusted business partners, we will ensure financial precision, uphold the highest standards in reporting, and safeguard our business's integrity - critical in this major growth phase.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team and lead that, establishing and shaping the department with the buy-in of stakeholders. You'll work closely with business leaders and teams driving growth and profitability, and be part of GB’s leadership team working directly with the Directors.

So, what’s the role?

You will collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Business, accounts, reporting cycles, and financial performance. You'll take ownership of the P&L with stakeholders and the Directors, using your keen judgement to manage and escalate issues and solutions effectively.

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate forecasts/budgets and monthly accounts, and have the opportunity to present insightful Business Review Packs influencing key strategic decisions. By continuously improving the quality of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and commercial decision-making, you’ll ensure all stakeholders receive the right support at the right time.

What skills are required?

• Newly qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified and actively pursuing studies (study support available).
• Commercial business knowledge and FP&A experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ambitious, determined, and eager to engage with teams, you are driven to challenge the norm, status quo and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Team player with a strong motivation to succeed, resilience, well organised and structured approach.
• Able to foster productive relationships across the businesses with multi-level contacts.
• Experience of financial management systems
• ERP systems experience is a bonus.
