About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Adviser to join our Specialist Advice team in Christchurch.
Our Specialist Advice team provide financial advice to expats and United States citizens. In this role, you will create financial plans for clients designed to manage the cross-border complexities that can come with dual citizenship.
As an Associate Adviser, you will work closely with our team of Financial Advisers, providing support in the delivery of financial advice to our clients.
In this role, you will be supported on your career pathway towards becoming a Financial Adviser. This will involve working through our Financial Adviser Development Program.

What do you need to be successful?
• 7 years of experience in legal, accounting, tax advisory, or another technical finance role.
• You have experience in working closely with clients.
• You're not afraid to ask questions due to your great attention to detail.
• You can effectively communicate in different ways and are not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work well within a team, but also autonomously.
• A tertiary degree is preferred but not essential.
• New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential.
