Our client situated in Durbanville is currently looking for a candidate who is versatile in two entities, Finance and HR, so essentially we are looking for a Financial or HR Manager. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Allocating transactions from bank statements into Xero Accounting software for 4 entities and the director's finances.
  • Ensuring accurate daily cash flow management.
  • Conducting petty cash reconciliations.
  • Monitoring compliance across all business operations.
  • Managing expenditures to maintain budget adherence.
  • Monitoring the financial health and well-being of the company.
  • Handling audit year ends and audit journals and SARS monthly audits
  • Processing and disbursing customer and monthly supplier payments.
  • Maintaining monthly payment schedules.
  • Ensuring availability of funds for debit orders.
  • Preparing and submitting all statutory returns - VAT returns, PAYE submissions, Income tax returns, etc
  • Reconciling monthly management accounts.
  • Submitting monthly turnovers to required financial institutions
  • Processing and managing monthly payroll.
  • Overseeing Human Resources tasks and addressing staff-related issues.
  • Conducting Labour Law audits.
  • Conducting all hearings and issuing warnings.
  • Join CEO with all staff meetings and conversations - taking minutes
  • Setting up zoom meetings when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory services, including reporting suspicious and cash transactions.
  • Verifying all clients on an external program
  • Providing general business and financial advice.
  • Developing and implementing new company policies and financial procedures.
  • Acting as personal assistant to the director.
  • Performing general filing and administrative duties.
  • Managing audit queries from initiation to resolution.
  • Addressing all account inquiries.
  • Keeping asset lists up-to-date
  • Keeping insurance policies up-to-date and liaising with the insurance company
  • Ordering new phones, laptops, iPads if and when necessary
  • Making sure all company vehicles are serviced on time and licenses are renewed on time
  • Making sure company vehicle logbooks are kept up-to-date and intercompany billing when necessary
  • Staff reimbursements when necessary
Minimum Requirement:
  • Financial or HR Qualification
  • Own Vehicle
  • Clear Credit and Criminal Record
