Introduction
Our client is a finance outsourcing business with offices in Johannesburg (Rosebank). They are looking to hire a senior resource to lead strategically and serve as a mentor to junior team members. They use Xero for all their clients and embrace technology to create efficiencies. They provide a turn-key finance solution to their clients and this role would oversee this is done effectively. The role offers some UK exposure (you will be trained up on this but it is an excellent opportunity to add to your current skill set)
Duties & Responsibilities
This role would be to oversee (and require some rolling up your sleeves and getting things done) the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, VAT and year-end. The role requires someone who has strong client management ability and is able to problem-solve. The role requires someone who is able to wear many hats (as you will have different clients in different industries who require different levels of support from you)
Desired Experience & Qualification

• Financial qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong on Excel (Pivot tables, sum if, vlookups etc)
• strong client relations experience
• ability to manage a small team
• Ability to manage your time effectively
• Ability to multi-task (multiple clients)
• Exposure to PowerBI advantageous
• Coming from an outsourcing / group consolidation environment advantageous
