REQUIREMENTS:

• Financial Accounting Degree/Diploma
• Minimum 5 - 6 years' experience to Trial Balance
• Advanced Word, PPT, and Excel
• Good understanding of principles and practices of financial/project accounting
• RSA Financial Statutory and Tax requirements
• Valid Driver's License, Own tranport
• Clean criminal and credit record

KNOWLEDGE/LEGISLATION:

• Public Finance Management Act of South Africa 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999) (PFMA)
• Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA)
• Treasury regulations issued in terms of the PPPFA
• King Code for Corporate Governance and Practice

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading and managing the group financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Reconciliation and review of all consolidated Income Statement and Balance Sheet Accounts
• Preparing consolidated financial and management reports which includes detailed variance analysis
• Preparation of consolidated company budgets and forecasts
