Our organisation provides healthcare and support to people throughout NZ. We are seeking a Payroll and Accounts Officer to join the team.
Our organisation includes Care on Call (NZ) Limited, Florence Nightingale Agency Limited and Medcall Health Personnel Limited. Care on Call and Florence provide homebased cares and supports to a variety of people for a variety of reasons throughout NZ and we are wanting to add to our finance team with someone experienced in payroll.
The Payroll and Accounts Administrator joins a team responsible for ensuring all payroll, billing and payments are done in a professional and responsible manner.

This role needs a fast thinker, a smart person with agility around software packages and able to juggle several tasks. Someone who can manage repetitive tasks accurately every time and with creativity to grow and improve with us!

This includes:
- Data entry and processing
- Checking payruns for errors
- Management of Leave applications
- Public Holiday preparation
- Management of payroll queries
- Reconciliations
- Troubleshoot billings for errors
- Reconcile payments received in Xero
- Client enquiries
Our ideal person would have/be:
- An excellent communicator
- Attention to detail
- Able to multitask
- Payroll experience
- Sense of humour
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, and external stakeholders
- Ability to assimilate and analyse information
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
Important things that relate to this role for you:
- 30-40 hours / 5 days a week
- Can be based in either Palmerston North or Christchurch office.
