As a Financial Accountant at EPUK, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions. Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Previous experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry is a plus.
Additional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments to ensure financial targets are met.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and manage the company's tax reporting and filing requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and provide recommendations for cost-saving and profit optimization.
- Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate and support annual financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Cash Management: Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions to optimize liquidity.
- Financial Systems: Collaborate with the IT department to improve and enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
- Financial Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine financial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to provide financial information and support for decision-making.
